About the show: It is airing fall of this year (2012). Zac is played by Chai Romruen, and the three mermaids are played by Lucy Fry, Ivy Latimer and Amy Ruffle. The show is called: Secret of Mako Island.

Secret of Mako Island centers on three mermaids, Sirena, Nixie and Lyla, charged with the task of protecting their magical Mako Island from trespassers. Then a 15 year old land-dweller Zac arrives – he forms a special connection with the island and is granted a fish-like tail and amazing powers. Threatened by his existence, the mermaid pod are forced to move away, abandoning Sirena, Nixie and Lyla, who in a bid for survival must get legs, venture onto land, and take back Zac’s powers or risk being outcasts forever.

Many fans have been looking for the same h2o locket as worn by the mermaids on the show. In Australia the h2o locket for sale were offered made from a Chinese manufacturer for the show. H2o Just add water The story of the lockets

On season 1, Emma finds the first locket (which we later discover was Gracie's) sitting on the bottom of the moon pool. Later at a party a guest (Miriam) is jealous of it and she tries to steal Emma's locket, but Rikki stops her, and gives it back to Emma.

Emma then gives it to Cleo, saying is more than capable of taking care of so important a locket after her actions of the day... Later Charlotte takes it from her saying it belongs to her since it was her grandmothers' but Lewis will make sure she gets it back.

Emma returns Miss Chatham's 'treasure' to her, and it turns out to be a locket (identical to Cleo's), containing a picture of three teenage girls; herself and her friends Julia and Gracie, who were all mermaids back in the 1950s (Cleo's locket belonged to Miss Chatham's friend Gracie).
Rikki is amazed when she sees a locket in a jeweler's shop identical to Cleo's and Miss Chatham's. Miss Chatham reveals that the locket belonged to her friend Julia, the third original mermaid. Rikki and the others try to purchase it but a jealous girl (Miriam) buys it just to spite her. Then, Zane retrieves the locket for Rikki after Miriam throws it in the water.
The girls give Julia's locket to Miss Chatham, but she gives it to Rikki, and then gives her own locket to Emma, saying that it is right that they are all together.
